I use this chair for my home computer. I purchased it in 2008 and within 4 months it started making noise. I'm sorry to say this chair is VERY NOISEY. Every time you shift your weight the back rest creaks and groans. Very disturbing :(

This was an impulse buy because of the great price, but the old addage holds true if it is too good to be tue.... I should have consulted the website first and saved myself the trouble. This unit is going back after a just a week of unsatisfactory service. Don't waste your money on this one!

I use this chair in word processing my dissertation primarily as well as all of my other writing-related activities. The chair is a great buy but in the end I had to use a back support pad to be able to use the chair comfortably.

I am 5'7"short, weigh 150#, and I sit in this chair, at the computer, four to eight hours a day. It looks good; provides firm, but not rock hard support, for butt and back; and won't break the bank. What more could a soul ask for?
