      I purchased a service company 2.5 years ago. I purchased a new office building 1.5 years ago and wanted to furnish the office with new furniture as my budget would allow. I purchased 3 of the desks/returns to replace the oldest/broken desks to begin with. I have just this summer purchased an additional 5/returns and have 4 of the matching lateral files. Everyone is very happy at the office. With the returns connected, telephone, calculater & the printer are all within easy reach when working at the desk. The office looks great and have received positive feedback from my clients & staff.

          A few years ago I lived in another city and owned the entire Cornerstone collection. I loved it, but when I moved 1000 miles, I sold the set. At my new home, I decided to try something new. So, I went to a fine furniture store and purchased a 'designer' desk. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I sold it and went right back to Staples to purchase another Cornerstone Desk. I love this desk even more than the first one! It is big, but it does not consume a room. It is classic and rich looking. It is sturdy and heavy, but it will still easily slide across the carpet. There are two small drawers and two file drawers. I also purchased the matching file cabinet. I work out of my home so it is very important that I have a comfortable work area.

          Thank you so much Staples and Sauder for selling such a fabulous item. I will never move without my Cornerstone desk and file cabinet again.

                This desk is extremely good value for money. It is made of quality materials and is VERY heavy. Looks really great. The only downside was that although the desk was easy to assemble despite it's weight, the drawers were a real headache to assemble and the instructions were little help due to the mis-leading pictures and text. Once we figured it out (and it took three of us) it was easy but with no thanks to the booklet. It's certainly worth the $$$ and looks and feels like a desk three times the price.
